Sopore, 02 Dec. 2024:In continuation of its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Sopore Police have arrested one drug peddler and recovered Psychotropic Substances from his possession.
A police party of Police Station Tarzoo headed by SHO PS Tarzoo Insp. Sajad Ahamd under the supervision of SDPO Sopore Shri. Sarfaraz Bashir-JKPS, during naka checking near Sanctorum Public School Lalad Sopore, apprehended one person namely Tawheed Nabi Gojri S/O Ghulam Nabi Gojri R/O Peth Seer Sopore.
During the search Police Party was able to recover Psychotropic substance 312 capsules of SPASMOPROXYVON Plus from his possession.
In this regard, case FIR No. 112 under relevant sections of Law has been registered at Police Station Tarzoo & investigation has been initiated.
Sopore police urges the common masses to give information regarding narcotics or any other crimes to the nearest police establishment or dial 112.
General Public is requested to cooperate with police in curbing the menace of drugs from the society. We reassure the community members that police will act tough against the criminals as per the law.
