Charar Sharif, Nov 8: The revered shrine of Hazrat Sheikh Nooruddin Wali, known as Sheikh-ul-Alam, became a center of devotion as thousands from across Kashmir convened to observe the saint’s 605th Urs. Pilgrims offered prayers at Dargah Sheikh-ul-Alam in Charar Sharif, reflecting a deep connection to the spiritual legacy of the Kashmiri saint.
Islamic scholar Molina Ghulam Rasul Hami, speaking to the gathering, emphasized the importance of reconnecting with Sheikh-ul-Alam’s teachings. “The values taught by Sheikh Nooruddin — peace, tolerance, and service to humanity — are much needed today,” Hami expressed, urging people to embrace these principles for a more harmonious society. He noted the profound influence of the saint’s message, which has guided generations in Kashmir and beyond.
