Sopore, October 19:- Shri Sheikh Muneer Ahmed, a prominent social worker from Sopore on Saturday has strongly condemned the brutal killing of Ashok Chauhan, a vendor from Shopian, by cowardly terrorists. In his statement, Sheikh Muneer expressed his deep outrage, calling the attack abhorrent and urging the public to condemn such acts of violence in the strongest possible terms.
“These attacks are not only heinous but also aim to disrupt the peace and harmony of our society,” Sheikh Muneer said. “The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the family of Ashok Chauhan during this difficult time. We will not allow such senseless acts to divide us.”
He further appealed to the Jammu and Kashmir administration to provide all necessary support to the bereaved family. “I request the administration to extend their full assistance to Ashok Chauhan’s family to ensure they receive the help they need during this tragic time,” he added.
The killing of the vendor has sparked widespread condemnation across the region, with many calling for united efforts to combat terrorism and restore peace.
