Srinagar, Oct 05: National Conference Omar Dismisses Exit Polls Ahead of J&K Assembly Electionsleader Omar Abdullah on Saturday dismissed the exit poll results for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, stating that only the official numbers released after the counting on October 8 will hold significance.
I’m amazed channels are bothering with exit polls especially after the fiasco of the recent general elections. I’m ignoring all the noise on channels, social media, WhatsApp Etc because the only numbers that matter will be revealed on the 8th of Oct. The rest is just time pass,” Omar said in a posted on X.
Earlier exit poll survey indicated that the Jammu Kashmir National Conference-Congress alliance is likely to win most seats.
The BJP is likely to win 23 to 27 seats in Jammu and Kashmir, becoming the second-largest party in the Union Territory.(KNS)
