SRINAGAR, Sep 24:In a crucial step toward ensuring a smooth electoral process, District Election Officer (DEO) Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat undertook an extensive late-night inspection of polling stations across the district.

Accompanied by other government officials, DEO Srinagar visited Baghat Barzulla, Peerbagh, Hyderpora, Chanapora and others.

During the visit, Bhat evaluated key aspects of each polling station, focusing on essential amenities such as reliable electricity, clean water supply, and adequate sanitation facilities. His attention to detail included ensuring that polling locations were equipped to cater to differently-abled individuals, with proper seating arrangements and separate queues for senior citizens.
