Kupwara, August 18: The third edition of the Ramhall Cricket League 2024 concluded today at the Galizo Sports Stadium in Kupwara with a thrilling finale. Friends 11 Lolab emerged victorious, defeating Gymkhana Lolab by a narrow margin of two runs.
Batting first, Friends 11 Lolab set a target of 210 runs. Aadil Reshi (59) and Manzoor Dar (52) were the key contributors to their total, while Zakir Wani chipped in with a valuable 43.
In reply, Gymkhana Lolab’s Omais Itoo produced a scintillating innings of 91 runs, but his efforts fell short as the team was bowled out for 194. Manzoor Dar was the standout bowler for Friends 11 Lolab, delivering a match-winning performance.
Manzoor Dar was adjudged the Player of the Match, while Tajamul Baba of Sultan Warriors Baramulla was named the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.
The tournament was a massive success, attracting thousands of spectators to the stadium. Online viewership on JKSportsTimes’ Facebook platform reached the lakhs, and the digital scoring platform recorded over 200,000 views.
