SOPORE:SP Sopore, Divya D, has emphasized the urgent need for collective action to combat the growing drug menace in the region. Speaking at a recent community engagement event, she called upon all sections of society, including parents, teachers, religious leaders, and local organizations, to play an active role in addressing this pressing issue.
Highlighting the detrimental impact of drug abuse on youth and society, SP Divya D stressed the importance of preventive measures, awareness campaigns, and early intervention. She urged community members to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities to law enforcement authorities.
“The fight against drugs cannot be won by law enforcement alone. It requires a united effort from every stakeholder to ensure our youth are safeguarded from this menace,” she stated.
SP Sopore also assured the community of the police department’s commitment to eradicating drug trafficking networks and supporting rehabilitation initiatives for those affected by addiction. She urged everyone to foster a safe and healthy environment for the younger generation to thrive.
