Kulgam November 29: A black bear was captured alive by the Wildlife Department devsar at Aliwanpora Zangalpora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday morning.
The bear had ventured close to human habitation, prompting concern among locals. Acting swiftly on reports, a team of experts from the Wildlife Department, Devsar, was dispatched to the area to manage the situation.
The Wildlife department Devsar, strategically laid a trap in the Zangalpora village early in the morning. The team successfully tranquilized and captured the bear without causing injury to anyone or the animal.
