Sopore, November 26, 2024:The Sopore Police observed Constitution Day with great zeal across all establishments within the Police District Sopore. The occasion was marked by the administration of a Constitutional pledge, led by SP Sopore, Smt. Divya D-IPS, at the District Police Headquarters.
Territorial officers across various police stations and units in the district also participated by taking the pledge at their respective locations.
During the event, SP Sopore administered the oath of the Preamble to the Constitution, underlining the importance of peaceful conflict resolution. The pledge reiterated the commitment to resolving disputes—whether among individuals, groups, or institutions—through non-violent means, fostering harmony in local communities and across the nation.
