Sopore, 14 Nov. 2024:Thana Diwas, an initiative of Government of UT J&K and a part of Public outreach programme was observed today at all Police Stations of PD Sopore.
The meetings were chaired by ASP Sopore Shri. Mir Murtaza-JKPS and SDPO Sopore Shri. Sarfaraz Bashir-JKPS and SDPO Rafiabad Shri. Aabid Rashid Mir-JKPS at different Police Stations.
During the meetings various issues were raised by the participants and were assured that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police department will be resolved on priority & that of Civil Administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
General public appreciated the efforts of Sopore Police in ensuring peaceful enviroment and requested for more such meetings in future.
