An intense encounter broke out between security forces and militants in the Tad area of Tangdhar in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The gunfight began this evening after security forces launched an operation based on credible intelligence about militant activity in the area.
Sources confirm to Kashmir Dot Com that a significant exchange of fire is ongoing, with both sides engaged in fierce combat.
