Sopore: Raquib Ul Rashid, State President of the Jammu and Kashmir Awami Development Party (JKAADP), clarified his stance regarding the party’s support for Engineer Rashid. While speaking to the media, he emphasized that their backing was specifically for Engineer Rashid as an individual leader, not for the unregistered Awami Ittihad Party (AIP).
Raquib Ul Rashid pointed out that their support was rooted in Engineer Rashid’s vision and leadership, rather than any affiliation with an unregistered political entity. He urged the public to understand the distinction between the leader they supported and the unregistered party, underscoring the importance of aligning with credible and registered political organizations.
In addition to his clarification, Raquib Ul Rashid expressed serious concerns about the tactics employed by certain political alliances in Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted that the National Conference (NC) and Congress have once again joined forces, presenting a united front that he believes is aimed at deceiving the public. Rashid asserted that this alliance, formed out of desperation, is merely a facade designed to mislead the people.
“It is crucial for the people to recognize that this alliance is driven by vested interests, with no real commitment to the welfare of the people. Their history of broken promises and failure to address the core issues of our state is a testament to their lack of genuine intent,” Rashid stated.
Rashid also raised concerns about the status of the Awami Ittihad Party (AIP), emphasizing that it is not a registered political party. He described AIP as an independent entity with no fixed ideology, warning that it poses a significant risk during these crucial times, as it can easily merge with any party that suits its convenience. He stressed that the people need stable and committed leadership, not one that can switch allegiances at will.
Rashid urged the public to be vigilant and not fall prey to the deceptive practices of these political entities. He called for informed decision-making and emphasized the importance of voting for leaders with a proven track record of serving the people with integrity.
“Our state requires leadership that is transparent, reliable, and truly dedicated to the betterment of its people,” Rashid added.
