Srinagar, Aug 19 (KNC) : An elderly man was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday .
A police offical told news agency Kashmir News Corner—(KNC) that the accident took place in Barsoo Awantipora when a private vehicle hit bearing registration number GJ21CE/0167 an elderly man, resulting in injuries to him.
He said that man was shifted to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to SKIMS Soura where doctors declared him brought dead.
He was later identified as Mohd Rajab wani son of Ghulam Rasool, a resident if Goripora Awantipora.
